In Korea...
dogs say "mong mong"

chickens say "kohkeeyo kohkeeyo"

birds say "jeck jeck"

and tigers say "oh hoong"

I asked some of my 6th graders about other sounds today and found this out too:
In Korea...
they say, a laugh sounds like "key, key, key"...
a car horn sounds like "bahng bahng"...
a police siren sounds like "beeyong beeyong"...
a person knocking on a door sounds like "dok dok" ...
and when people clap, they say it sounds like "jak jak"
This is totally true in Japan too! I remember a hilarious afternoon when we made our Japanese cast members make animals sounds all day!
ReplyDeleteDogs say "Wan Wan"
Cats say "Nyet Nyet"
so cute!
