The traditional Korean concert...
One of the teacher's at Kevin's school is involved in a special concert group who performs in Busan. Tonight, we made the treck out to the cultural center, 21 subway stops from of our apartment to see the show. We were both moved by the performances... The music, the outfits, and their cultural mannerisms during the show were magical and, in turn, exceeded our expectations. It was completely worth the 21 subway stops!
Cristiano Ronaldo
Today, I was allowed to leave work early, so I surprised Kevin by showing up at his school a couple hours before his day was over. While I was there, I sifted through some papers on his desk and found this one, a true gem, which was drawn by one of Kev's after school English Club kids. I'm just wondering, I know Cristiano Ronaldo plays soccer, but who exactly is RonaRdo?
Charlie's e-mail
You may remember the blog post I did about going to dinner at Charlie's house about a month ago. He is one of Kevin's Korean friends who he plays soccer with on the weekends. During the dinner at Charlie's, he told me how much he liked my voice. I thought it was a strange compliment, but welcomed it anyway. Today, Charlie sent Kev the following e-mail:
"Kevin, sometimes I think about your wifes beautiful voice".
