Grandparents staying young...

I think I've talked about the grandparents class that my school offers to the grandparents of our students in previous blogs. It's such an awesome thing! The class is every Tuesday and Thursday and the grandparents either learn to dance (wish I had a picture for you), listen to a comedian, or practice the traditional drum.

Every Tuesday, before I teach my kindergarten class, I stop by and check in on the action. Lately, I have been sitting with them (in the very back) and learning to play the drum too. I'm actually pretty good at it! They are all so sweet and welcoming whenever I see them. I get a lot of smiles and waves when I come to class. :) My favorite grandparent is the old man in the front of this picture (on the right). He's so awesome!
