You couldn't imagine the surprise on my face when I noticed that my new Korean co-teacher, Monica, was wearing TOMS yesterday!
I knew she was awesome, but now I REALLY know she's awesome! When I asked her where she found them (since they're impossible to find in Korea), she said "Oh, I bought them online at the TOM'S website. My daughter told me that if I bought a pair, the company would give a pair to someone who needs shoes, so I bought some!"

Hi, my name is Amy! :) I've been a reader of your blog for just a little while. Sort of stumbled upon it from another blog I think! Anyway, my boyfriend and I used to live in Busan for a year in 2004-05 and it's been neat to see what it's like there now! We live in Seoul and don't get to Busan often and kind of miss it at times! Anyway, I just had to comment because I am a TOMS addict. Have four pairs now and have found two of those in Korea! It is possible! There are tons of places in Seoul to get them. I even checked out the TOMS site and it says you can get them in Busan here:

Although, I think they are a bit more expensive than what you'd pay back home, I still think they're worth it and the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned! Anyway, just had to comment and I think it's super cool your co-teacher wears them! They're my indoor shoes at my school and I never see anyone else wearing them! :)
