Date Night!

Last night, Aaron and Scoot picked me up from work and took me to Jagalchi for some roasted seafood, cooked right at our table! We ordered clams, shrimp, octopus, and some other random little sea creatures! Our table was right across from the port, and in the middle of the market, so there was lots of people watching to be done! mmm, octopus!

This lady was running the restaurant, and cooked our sea creatures for us! As soon as she was finished, she grabbed some "sneesh" (snake, eel, fish things) out of the red container behind her and started skinning them for another customer! (If you saw the video below, you know what that looks like!) eeeehhhhh! 4
When we were finished with dinner, we scooted over to Nampodong for some shopping, and spotted this puppy along the way! He was so sweet and came right over to me and let me pick him up! We snuggled for a couple minutes before I let him down to wander again.
After shopping, Aaron treated me to a movie at the Cineplex! We watched Eclipse, which to be honest, I think he wanted to see even more than I did! :) Gotta love having a boyfriend who can watch chick flicks with ya!

We ended the night with an episode of the Bachelorette at my place! Talk about a perfect date night! I couldn't have planned it better if I did it myself! Thanks A!

Jagalchi Live Eel Skinning!

On Sunday, Aaron and I scooted over to Jagalchi Fish Market and took a walk through the busy market streets! I thought you guys would enjoy this video of an old Korean woman skinning a live eel! This is a very common sight in the market, and believe it or not, Koreans love eating these eels! ehhhh. No thank you!

I tried to dig a picture up on Aaron's flickr page to show you how brave I was a while ago, but I couldn't save it and import it here, so I'll tell you, instead! We happened to be walking the market streets one night and stopped to watch a lady skinning eels. Aaron dared me to touch it, but I went one step further and held it while it squirmed around in my hand! Definitely one of the grossest things I've experienced living here, but a great picture, nonetheless!

At the Driving Range!

Aaron and I ventured over to the Jagalchi Fish Market in search of the driving range that we had once seen during a walk we took around there! Sure enough, we found it, and $12.00 later, we had 3 large buckets of balls, and golf clubs to swing with! Here's Aaron showing off his "speed golf" game!

And this one's for you dad... in honor of the hole in 1 you made last week... I gave the driving range a shot! Turns out, my form is horrible, but I'm actually not bad!

Guess when we come to FV in January, the 3 of us will have to get out on the course together!
