Now that's a big bone!

Aaron and I were grocery shopping the other day in our favorite grocery store, Kim's Club, and happened to look down into the freezer section and found these! We were laughing so hard, and the lady who worked in that section thought it was cute that were were so amused by these and was more than happy to jump in my picture!

As a side note, these were $50.00 a piece! I know Macy (my old dog) would have been more than happy to chew on these for a while!

My doctor visit!

I've been having some personal pains (Nothing to write home about, but doctor worthy none the less.) So, I stopped in to see my Pharmacist, who I love, and who speaks perfect English. I told him my symptoms, and he graciously wrote them in Hangul for me to take to the doctor, since sometimes they don't speak English well.

The doctors office is right above his Pharmacy, so within seconds, I was at the door. I walked in, and was immediately greeted by the front desk clerk, who said, "Hello Jill Anderson!" I was SHOCKED! I've only been here once before, and it was probably about 5 months ago and she remembered my name! That's good service if you ask me!

She asked me to take a seat while she input my information, but then as soon as I sat down, she said the doctor was ready! (Mind you, I didn't even have an appointment!) I talked with the doctor for about 3 minutes and then I was done! I walked back into the waiting room and the girl had my prescription printed and my bill laid out on the counter for me! "Your total is 2,600 WON," ($2.12) "and here is your prescription."
CAN YOU BELIVE HOW CHEAP IT IS TO SEE A DOCTOR HERE?!

I walked downstairs and handed my pharmacist the prescription. After looking at it he said, "Oh this is REALLY good medicine! You will feel better in no time! Your total is 3,500 WON!" (Which is $2.84)

I actually kind of laughed to myself, and noded my head in disbelief at the ease of the whole medical process in this country! Can't beat Korea when it comes to health care and prescription costs! I love this place!

Korean discipline!

I just walked down the hallway and witnessed this! Usually it's just one kid, but there were 5, all in trouble at the same time! I actually went downstairs, and came back 15 minutes later, grabbed my camera, and they were STILL there, and she was STILL yelling at them!

.
I guarantee whatever they did... they won't do again! At least, if they're smart they won't!

Togi Update!

I realize it's been a little while since I've done a baby Togi update! So, this is for all you Togi fans out there... and of course for you "grand-bunny-mommy!" :)

Aaron and I weighed Togi tonight to see how much she's actually grown!! She's over 8x's the size she was the day I brought her home! Now that I know she won't stay really small, like the salesman told me she would, I'm feeding her lots of goodies to chunk her up and make her nice and cuddly!

Dinner and Dominoes!

Aaron came over tonight and cooked dinner for me! mmm... There's nothing better than a man who cooks! :) Oh wait... yes, there is! A man who cooks and then says, "Wanna play some dominoes!"

So, we broke out my handmade domino set that I bought in Thailand! I ended up winning, by a landslide!
Final score: 255 to 160!

My Grandaddy would be so proud if he were here to see me in action tonight!
(He was a Domino Champion, you know!)
This win's for you Clay!
