Are you a vegetablist?
One of the Principals by Jess's house asked her the other day if she was a "vegetablist" (instead of vegetarian!) So awesome huh?!
Apples to Apples!
Tonight, Brian, Taylor, Irene, Aaron, and I all got together for dinner at Brian's apartment in Jangsan! We had a great night of laughing, talking, and playing Apples to Apples, which I won the first game of! :) What can I say?? I know my friends!
Tomorrow morning, I'm waking up at 5:45am to catch the KTX train to Seoul to meet Jessica, Stella, Kristen, and Maria for a girl weekend! I may even get to see one of my old high school friends, Eugene Yang, who currently lives in Seoul, teaching English! :)

Subway Salesmen...
Once in a while, these subway salesman come through the subway train with their rolling carts, selling random stuff (usually crap - sometimes things worthwhile!) This man was selling a package of 5 magnetic clips to close food bags with for the equivalent of 75 cents! (Not sure how he is able to make a living doing this!)

He gave about a 2 minutes shpeel about his product and showed ALL the different ways it could be used! Then he walked the traincar to see if there were any takers! Unfortunately, there weren't. Guess everyone already has food clips! I will say though, there have been some subway salesmen who have been so convincing that I had to buy their product! So, I have 2 pairs of gloves and 1 lent picker uper thingy at home! I'm a sucker, what can I say!

Happy Birthday Buddha!
The lanters have been hung, and the Buddhists are already beginning to celebrate Buddha's birthday around here!

It isn't technically until May 21st, but they decorate the town weeks in advance! (Kind of like we do for Christmas, minus the expensive trees, fancy wreaths and colorful lights!) I'm going to be staying in Busan this year for the holiday weekend (last year I went to Japan) and I'm planning to head over to one of the big temples around here to get some pictures of the lanterns! I heard it's stunning at nightime! Can't wait!

Top Ramen!
If you're a Top Ramen fan... this is definitely the country for you! You could have a different flavor for every meal for an entire month, I think! And this picture was taken in a 7 Eleven! Imagine how many more you could find in an actual grocery store!
